This was the best home we have ever booked on Airbnb. Everything was well thought of even to the very last detail. The layout of the home is beautiful designed that even though we were a group of 9 people we were not on top of each other. Vusi and Victoria were the perfect addition for our stay…so kind and patient.They prepared the most delicious meals throughout our stay. They were very attentive to our needs…from cleaning our rooms , fresh towels daily and yes those meals !! The boat rides, kayaking, swimming were the perfect in-house activities. Everyone is still raving about those meals . I have huge shoes to fill in my kitchen and I’m failing miserably, lol. There’s literally nothing that was less than perfect ,this is a clear understanding that Lorrain understands the hospitality business. This was just not booking a house, we were treated like guests and she was the perfect host .The whole experience was the highlight of our SA stay . We will definitely be come back . Worth it!

This was the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. The house is beautiful and very spacious! The staff did over and above. Vuzsi the chef made the most amazing meals each night. I will truly miss his home cooked meals!!!! The homemaker Victoria was so kind and did anything we asked. The host Andy and Lorrain had great communication and was always available. I recommend this location and I plan to visit again!!!

This place is truly a gem! The house is very spacious with all bedrooms and bathrooms spotless and plenty of space for the 15 people in our group. Andy & Lorrain are very friendly and involved and will do everything to make your stay a wonderful experience. Vusi and his team are the perfect addition to the property, they are so friendly and the food they prepare is truly excellent. When we have the opportunity, we will return in summer!

Andy & Lorrain are fantastic hosts, and Vusi, Mafrika, and Victoria made every effort to make us feel at home. Vusi’s dishes were the best we had during our 2-week stay in Kruger. The house is spacious, beautifully decorated, and the lake view is very relaxing. There is a lot to do in the area. I recommend going to Elephant Whispers during your stay. It’s very close by and so worth it. We loved our time at Tinker and just wished we had stayed longer. We will have to visit again in the summer!

Tinker’s Lodge is an absolutely gorgeous home with fun activities including ping pong, pool, and the pontoon boat. We loved barbecuing on the boat and jumping into the water. The staff and especially Vusi are kind, helpful, and great chefs. We ate all meals prepared by Vusi and loved every single one. I couldn’t recommend this place more!!!

This house is a unique gem in the Kruger park area, 20 minutes from the Kruger national park entrance, so very convenient for Kruger day visits. The house is beautifully built, rock and wood, and integrates with the beautiful surroundings and lake so nicely. Very spacious and the rooms are very comfortable. Vusi and the team indulged us with great food and catered to our large family every dietary need. Their smiling faces and attitude were great every day of our week here. The park guides that Andy organized for us were great and provided us with unforgettable memories from Kruger. Highly recommended!

Lorrain’s lodge was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. She did everything to make sure our trip went smoothly. The staff at the lodge were so nice and accommodating to us. What a beautiful lodge and what an incredible vista overlooking the lake in a wonderfully safe environment! Safety was on our minds as we were 4 adult women traveling together and not only is this lodge off the main road but you have to traverse through 2 gates which makes it incredibly safe!! The road in to the lodge passes by a working avocado and macadamia nut farm and is so beautiful as well!!! Safe to walk about which is wonderful!!!! Home itself is a stunning work of art with original artwork on the walls and the attention of the caretaker , Vusi, is nothing short of Ritz Carlton treatment!!!! His cooking is off the charts and I highly recommend you let him make you meals!!!!!! Worth every penny and more, for certain!!!! Boat rides in the evening were just the icing on the cake!!!!! All in all, spectacular!!!!!!!! I’d go back in a nansecond!!!

Tinkers Lodge is a little gem! We spent a week at this slice of heaven with an extended family group of 15. It is the most beautiful setting overlooking the DaGama Dam, you couldn’t ask for a nicer spot to enjoy a sundowner. The house interior is gorgeous with each room tastefully decorated to combine luxury with comfort. We enjoyed days out on the boat, days around the pool and many happy evenings around the bar. The jewel in the crown of this amazing place is Vusi and Mafeka, who took such great care of us all. The food was out of this world! Nothing was too much trouble and they were an absolute pleasure to have around. We are very grateful for all their hard work during our stay. I speak for the whole family when I say it was a holiday of a lifetime and we will all savour the memories forever.
