Tinker Lakeside Lodge Boat Cruises Cancellations and Refund Policy
Cancellations
- Cancellations must be done via e mail
- Cancellations by Tinkers Boat Cruises – a full refund will be issued or the activity will be rescheduled
- Cancellations received on the day of the cruise will forfeit 100% of payment
- Any cruise that is rescheduled on day of cruise will be charged at the regular ticket price and be deemed a new booking.
- A non-arrival for a scheduled cruise will be treated as a “no-show” and 100% of payment forfeited by guest
- The “same day” cancellation period does not apply to Special Scheduled and Private Cruises as detailed below: the cancellation period is extended to 72 hours before scheduled departure time of the booked cruise. Special Scheduled Cruises are cruises over the peak season that are normally booked out. These include all cruises on South African Public Holidays (New Year’s Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, the Easter Weekend, Valentine’s day etc); and all other special scheduled event cruises.
Weather Cancelations
Tinkers Boat Cruises prioritise the safety and satisfaction of our customers. In the event of bad weather conditions that may impact your upcoming trip, we offer the following options:
- Reschedule Your Trip: If the weather forecast indicates conditions that could affect the experience or safety of your trip, you have the option to reschedule for a later date.
OR
- Refund: If rescheduling is not possible we will issue a full refund.
REFUND POLICY
- All refund requests to be submitted in writing to reservations@tinkers.co.za
- Requests to be submitted within 72 hours after the booked cruise; for administrative reasons we cannot countenance late claims.
